Shot For Me

Geronimo Shot Bar, infamous for its bell—whoever rings it has to buy a round of shots—is hosting one party on October 25 and one on Halloween proper. They will, supposedly, be the “scariest costume parties ever.” Like, scarier than venturing into the heart of LKF on Halloween night? You get a free shot for being in costume.

Oct 25, 31, 10pm. 2/F, Winner Building, 27-39 D’Aguilar St., Central, 2833-9951.

Da Da Da

For something a little different, head to Dada Bar and Lounge, which is screening two scary movies. On October 30, see 2012 French black comedy “The Suicide Shop,” about a family selling suicide tools in a city where everyone’s depressed. Cheerful! On October 31, catch “Let Me In,” the 2010 horror flick starring Kodi Smit-McPhee and Chloë Grace Moretz as a child vampire. You get a “scary snack combo” with food shaped like eyeballs and fingers, as well as a Halloween-themed cocktail.
