There’s enough there for even the most precocious know-it-all to get on with. The book brings science and cooking together into a delicious, knowledgeable whole. And as for me—well, what do you get the man who knows everything? Naturally, I’ve dropped some strong hints about the Blu-ray edition of classic 1956 Hitchcock thriller “ The Man Who Knew Too Much ” starring James Stewart and Doris Day ($280 from HMV, 3-4/F, Entertainment Building, 30 Queen’s Rd.
