Backstreet's Back, Alright
Move over, One Direction: the original boy band comes back to Hong Kong in April. Tickets go on sale Thursday March 12.
Remember the Backstreet Boys? Of course you do. One of the bestselling boy bands of all time, the five have been around for more than two decades. Nick, Kevin, A.J., Howie and Brian found fame in 1996 following the release of their eponymous debut album, featuring hits like “I’ll Never Break Your Heart” and “Quit Playing Games.”
The Boys followed up the success of their inaugural effort with second album “Backstreet’s Back” in 1997. The album hit No.1 on more than 10 album charts around the world.
Over the years, the Backstreet Boys continued their meteoric rise to stardom with a string of No.1 hits: think "Show Me the Meaning of Being Lonely" in 1999; comeback effort "Incomplete" 2005 after a two-year hiatus; and more recently, "Permanent Stain" in 2013.
