The Garia Mansory Currus (above, and the driver’s control centre below) is the Rolls-Royce of golf carts, and there are only seven worldwide.

on the golf course (or in Discovery Bay) is your goal, look no further than the Garia Mansory Currus. Copenhagen-based Garia has long been producing state-of-the-art luxury golf carts for the golfing and racing elite such as five-time PGA Tour winner Bubba Watson, nine-time winner of Le Mans rally Tom Kristensen and current IndyCar champion Ryan Hunter-Reay.

However, its latest model with German car customiser Mansory - which outfits many of the world's top car brands including Aston Martin, Rolls-Royce and Bentley - blurs the lines between go-kart and golf cart.

Limited to just seven cars worldwide, the lithium-battery-operated vehicle reaches speeds of up to 60km/h and is street-legal in Europe. Owners of this cart can switch between the golf, street and race settings. Like a manettino on a Ferrari, which allows for different electronics settings depending on the performance level the driver wants, the company says each speed setting "dramatically alters the character of the vehicle and enables it to be a golf cart on the golf course - without destroying the course - while being able to spin its wheels and handle like a go-kart on the road".

The cart comes in a cool matte black finish and also features carbon-fibre body panels, waterproofed leather seats and dashboard and a stereo system. The price? A mere €68,000 (HK$732,000) plus tax.
