Be&D is the madcap creation of New York designer Steve Dumain. After an eclectic career in business, script writing and film producing, Dumain turned his hand to shoe design and established Be&D in 2004. The brand's unusual mixture of humour and luxury has gained a celebrity following, with fans including Charlize Theron, Daisy Lowe and Katy Perry. Be&D's rise to fame has led to collaborations on ready-to-wear collections for such fashion mainstays as Diane Von Furstenberg and Rachel Roy.
