Move over Zara, there's a new kid in town. Fashion editors around the world have been swearing by COS (it stands for Collection of Style) since it was launched by fast-fashion group H&M, which was looking to add something a little more high end to its stable. That was in 2007 and, since then, COS has consistently served up super-chic clothes at affordable prices. While the brand boasts boutiques all over Europe, it was only in June that it decided to open its first Asian outpost here in Hong Kong.

COS can best be described as H&M's more sophisticated sister. Expect timeless yet edgy designs with tailored silhouettes punctuated by quirky details (think Marni meets Céline). The two-storey boutique boasts a Scandinavian-inspired decor and covers a whopping 5,000 square feet. Inside you'll find women's, men's and children's collections and a small range of accessories.

COS is at 74 Queen's Road Central, tel: 3580 7938; www.cosstores.com
