Hot under the collar Unless you've been living under a rock for the past few months, you'll have noticed the trend for collar accessories. Erickson Beamon's stylish take features dramatic gems. The crisp white collar adorned with crystals, beads and pearls (above; HK$16,500) is a great statement piece, while the black rhinestone collar (left; HK$18,500) is a little more 1970s disco. Erickson Beamon is available at On Pedder, 16 Queen's Road Central, tel: 2118 3489. Simply flattering Shiny black leather is the theme at 3.1 Phillip Lim. Both the flat loafer (above left; HK$3,690) and the contrast-effect flat shoe (below left; also HK$3,690) are beautifully constructed. 3.1 Phillip Lim is in Gateway Arcade, Tsim Sha Tsui, tel: 2113 0311. Boxy knockouts We're a fan of the boxy shapes and interesting textures that define Marc Jacobs' accessories. The grey, quilted, chain handbag (below left; HK$8,490) has a slight metallic sheen, but we like the more classic white version (below right; HK$6390). For a great day bag, there's the large Hailey (left; HK$37,900) in white ostrich. Marc Jacobs is in the Landmark, Central, tel: 2523 3324. Gilded pleasure The ever shy Jean Paul Gaultier has given fans a visual feast that references the era of Andy Warhol's New York Factory and the Velvet Underground. There are plenty of loud prints, but we prefer the golden glamour of two outfits: the loose metallic hoodie (HK$16,980) and matching leggings (both below left; HK$4,680), and the cropped gold jacket (HK$15,980) with black ruffled top (HK$18,180) and gold skinny jeans (all below right; HK$9,980). Jean Paul Gaultier is in the Lee Gardens, Causeway Bay, tel: 2915 6189.
