Behind the label: Jamin Puech

Husband-and-wife team Benoit Jamin and Isabelle Puech started the label in Paris, France, in 1991, offering a quirky array of handbags, wallets and jewellery. Both designers studied in respected Parisian fashion schools: Jamin at Cours Bercot, before going to work for designer Barbara Bui; Puech at l'Ecole Esmod, before a stint assisting acclaimed former French Vogue editor Carine Roitfeld.

for the combination of humour and colour, as seen on a broad range of bags, from luxury leather holdalls to the company's comic "birthday bag" from last year, which featured 20 candles to celebrate two decades in the business.
