MaiProject was established by French designer Arthur Schildge in 2008 on a trip to Chiang Mai, Thailand. Schildge saw the potential for a fashion-forward shoe brand with a conscience. MaiProject funds development projects directly with money raised from shoe sales, with €2 (HK$20) from every sale donated to a partner charity working in some of the poorest parts of the world.
