Hong Kong native Hidy Ng Kwan-kay is renowned for her attention to detail, intricate designs and luxurious fabrics. Armed with a diploma in fashion design and 10 years' experience as chief designer at an apparel company specialising in knitwear, Ng set up her eponymous label in New York, in the United States, in 2003. Fast forward 10 years and you will find her garments on the backs of Hollywood celebrities and stocked in boutiques throughout the world. Since 2008, Ng's focus has been on accessories, and now the designer is setting her sights on China, opening multiple stores across the mainland and returning to her Hong Kong roots via an exclusive collection with multibrand luxury fashion house The Swank.
