International design duo Peter Pilotto and Christopher de Vos, who met at fashion college in Antwerp, Belgium, and quickly became darlings of the London fashion scene with their distinctive funky prints and super modern attitude. This first major high street collaboration by Peter Pilotto has been hotly anticipated and is sure to sell out fast. The brand won this year's Vogue/BFC Fashion Fund prize, which will give the business a serious boost internationally. American retail giant Target obviously saw the potential, having tapped the label for a fashion-forward and affordable-yet-daring collection for the masses.

the limited collection of women's apparel, accessories and swimwear plays on the designers' signatures, such as bright graphic prints and interesting colour blocking. Making the items accessible in terms of price and wearability, however, has opened a door for the designers to a wider audience willing to experiment. The floral-and-stripe contrast prints and feminine kaleidoscopic jacquard dresses make for ideal cocktail attire, but there are plenty of cool tops, shorts and skirts to keep your day-to-day wardrobe stocked.

for something with sex appeal, there's the strapless print dress (right; €94/HK$990). The graphic black-and-white bikini set (bustier €27, bottoms €20), worn with a printed blue sleeveless shirtdress (€41) and graphic plimsoles (€35), is perfect for those upcoming days at the beach.

Peter Pilotto for Target is available in Hong Kong through net-a-porter.com.
