Tiffany & Co's now iconic Atlas collection was introduced in 1995 and inspired by the Atlas clock that adorns the entrance of the company's Fifth Avenue store, in New York. Its clean lines and graphic Roman numerals have appeared on a range of contemporary jewellery, which now includes several new designs. Among them are a series of lightweight bangles (left; HK$5,100 to HK$36,800) and pendants (top right; HK$24,500). Also making a bold statement is the Atlas numeral wide cuff (bottom right; HK$18,300) featuring a more abstract design. Most styles are available in 18-carat yellow, white or rose gold, as well as sterling silver and titanium. Tiffany & Co is in The Landmark, Central, tel: 2845 9853.
Fashion has come full circle yet again as the logo mania of the 1980s has made a comeback for spring. As such it's the perfect time for Saint Laurent to launch its Monogram collection, featuring 30 items for men and women, including luggage and accessories. Now a permanent line, the latest collection references a logo design created back in 1961 by artist Cassandre, which has been reinterpreted by creative director Hedi Slimane. The print features the logo, which is made up of lines and dots, in a repetitive pattern, and is brought to life in black and shades of brown. It appears on coated cotton canvas in a range of styles including the duffel bag (centre; HK$19,500), the sports bag (bottom; HK$9,900) and the tote (top; HK$8,500). Made in Italy, each style comes with the Saint Laurent logo embossed in gold on the front. Saint Laurent is in Alexandra House, Central, tel: 2868 0092.
3. Spring steps For spring, comfort was on the minds of most designers as shoes became more practical with slides and wedges taking centre stage. Chloé caught onto the trend and has released a collection of chic styles designed to go from day to night. Highlights include the Camille (bottom; HK$7,000), with its sculptural cork wedge and thick upper made from leather or canvas. More elegant is the Clyde, which comes in several versions, including a fringed canvas with a hammered-gold metal heel (top; HK$11,180). Chloé is in Prince's Building, Central, tel: 2807 1101.
