1. Make an impression For his spring-summer 2014 campaign, Christian Louboutin has collaborated with still-life photographer Peter Lippmann. Known for his painterly images, Lippmann has recreated works by masters such as Monet and Van Gogh using real flowers with shoes from Louboutin's colourful collection nestled within. We love the sexy Djalouzi python pump (left; HK$10,800) and the simple Air Chance (right; HK$7,500), both of which make great use of PVC. Christian Louboutin is at 10 Wyndham Street, Central, tel: 2530 2198.

2. Armed and gorgeous Add some glitter to your summer wardrobe with hardware by Chloé. The Cate cuffs in brass (left; HK$3,620 each) feature a double band with a twisted end that resembles a bendy safety pin. Or, if you are feeling bold, there’s the eyecatching Celia forearm cuff (right; HK$5,090), which would be best worn with a sleeveless dress for maximum impact. Chloé is in Prince’s Building, Central, tel: 2807 1101.

3. Swing sisters Ralph Lauren’s spring-summer collection boasts simple lines and strong structuring. Take, for instance, the all-white look, inspired by the bold spirit and playfulness of London in the Swinging 60s. The ottoman ribbed top (HK$10,500) and miniskirt (also HK$10,500) are complemented by the black patent pump (HK$5,400; all left). The bright green dress (right; HK$17,500) and cobalt blue number (centre; HK$18,000) would make minimalist yet mesmerising summer statement pieces. Ralph Lauren is in The Peninsula, 19 Salisbury Road, Tsim Sha Tsui, tel: 2721 1908.
