Bags of oomph With his debut collection, Jonathan Anderson, Loewe’s new creative director, has proven that groomed, Iberian style is readily attainable – and from a Brit, no less! The label’s springsummer 2015 accessories are made up of elegant, asymmetrical bags and carryalls with nifty zip insertions and pockets for added gusto. Perfect for the irreverent dandy are the camel Puzzle cross-body bag (above right; HK$23,950) and the forest green Anton backpack (above left; also HK$23,950). Loewe is in Pacific Place, Admiralty, tel: 2918 1120.

Strolls on sodden pebble beaches seem to be what Acne Studios' collection has been designed for this season, with anoraks and waterproof, neoprene parkas making up the bulk of the label's outerwear offerings. There's a strong theme of practicality though, which suits us fine and might even come in handy, should another umbrella revolt come into play. Anyone hankering for a coat that's a tiny bit funky need look no further. We recommend the slightly iridescent Easter Hood jacket (far right; HK$8,799) and the satin varsity jacket (right; HK$6,899). Acne Studios is available at I.T, 1 Hysan Avenue, Causeway Bay, tel: 2890 7012.

The 70s show For better or worse, the 1970s has made a comeback at Marc Jacobs. The retro suits and winter peacoats look both painfully awkward and oh-so-artsy on the campaign’s moody, flame-haired models. We are excited, however, by this season’s shoes, which gently echo the haphazard inspiration. Opt for the black snakeskin loafer (below right; HK$6,590) or the brown derby with camel stitching (below left; HK$6,590). Marc Jacobs is available at Harvey Nichols, The Landmark, Central, tel: 3695 3388.
