Yoogaia, world's first interactive online yoga studio, is no sweat

Having a sweaty classmate breathe down your neck, waiting for the shower and being on the reserve list for your favourite teacher's class are just some of the frustrations that come with joining a yoga gym.
Yogis Marsha Ho and Michael Bantigue know these niggles all too well and are bringing an alternative experience to the comfort of your own home.
To attend live classes at Yoogaia, the world's first interactive online yoga studio, all you need is a mat and a webcam. Choose from a pool of teachers, who you can learn from and interact with in real-time, or opt for pre-recorded sessions. Pilates, core and kettle bell exercise classes are also available.

Yoogaia was founded by health and fitness entrepreneur Mikko Petäjä, who has been streaming classes from his studio in Helsinki, Finland, since last January. Two studios have since been launched, in London and, now, Hong Kong, with a third lined up for New York. Each branch has a unique design and invites local teachers.
"There are a few classes I would definitely recommend: yoga nidra, which is something you can do during your lunch break; and candlelight yoga, a daunting spiritual journey through the asanas," she says.
