Stretch your wings In Chinese culture, butterflies signify love and, with that in mind, local brand Uber Tunique has launched a range of jewellery adorned with the dainty motif. The Papillon D’or collection features gold set with pavé diamonds, as seen on the butterfly earrings (top; HK$5,600) and bracelet (above right; HK$3,500). The I Love You wraparound ring (above left; HK$140) is finished with butterfly antennae-like arms and comes in silver, gold or pink brass. Uber Tunique is at 7 Mee Lun Street, Central, tel: 2890 0344.

We all love a bit of gratuitous bling and gaudy branding from time to time, but Out shopping tends to reserve those get-ups for when our favourite Russian oligarchs come to town. In the meantime, there is Emporio Armani. For its simple, understated glamour, we love the brand's rose-gold watch with tortoiseshell acetate strap (above left; HK$2,500). For added elegance, complete the look with the raw silk scarf in contrasting shades of pink and blue (above right; HK$1,900). Emporio Armani is in Chater House, Central, tel: 2532 7711.

Fancy pants Italian lingerie brand Intimissimi arrived in Hong Kong just over a year ago, giving women of all sizes, from petite to Rubenesque, new underwear options. The label's latest collection is a romantic affair, which moves from demure and lacy to racy and seductive. We love the lacy lime green bra (HK$549) and briefs (HK$120; both above right) and the seductive see-through baby doll chemise (above left; HK$599). Intimissimi is at 62 Queen's Road Central, tel: 2399 7080.
