Another fine mesh The face behind Japanese label Sacai, Chitose Abe launched her fashion-forward line at Lane Crawford last year, championing unusual cuts and texture combos. Now the former Comme des Garçons designer has moved into even more eccentric waters, this time in partnership with Nike. “Working with traditional silhouettes and ideas that often come from utility or performance-based sportswear, I’m interested in creating new hybrids and shapes that create an unexpected but wearable result,” says Abe. Lace fringing, mesh and pleating are out in force; this time accentuating Nike’s signature splash jackets, cotton jerseys and jumper dresses. Soup for the sole  Converse's All Star trainer, which has been in production since 1917 and was made famous by legendary basketball player Chuck Taylor, remains a footwear staple. And a new capsule collection inspired by Andy Warhol's pop art is set to hit Hong Kong stores in the next week or so. The high tops and classic All Stars are adorned with versions of Warhol's Campbell soup motif.
