Italy's Dolce and Gabbana has looked to Spain for its spring-summer collection. While there were some wacky matador-inspired looks - think black embroidery on silk jackets and cropped trousers - the standouts once again were the suiting and use of colour. We love the look of warm grey three-piece suit (HK$51,000) with shawl lapel, where the matador influence can be seen in the skinny black silk tie (HK$1,900), white cotton shirt (HK$5,100) and black linen loafers (HK$7,700; all above right). Equally arresting is the two-button, three-piece dark turquoise suit (HK$51,000) with a notched lapel. Again the look is completed with a tie (HK$1,900), wider collared white cotton shirt (HK$7,300) and black linen loafers (HK$7,700; all above left). Dolce & Gabbana is in Alexandra House, Central, tel: 2877 5558.

K-threads The goods has always been a little meh about Korea’s current status as a cultural powerhouse. Sure, we can find things to like about Girls’ Generation, ahem, and the work of Snowpiercer director Bong Joon-ho, but we would be quite happy if we never heard another Psy “song”. Ever. Anyway, we do love the work of K-fashion brand Wooyoungmi and we think you should, too, particularly this tailored grey blazer (above left; HK$6,790) and jumper (above right; HK$4,290). Wooyoungmi is in Harvey Nichols, The Landmark, Central, tel: 3695 3388.
