Treat yourself to the latest from Céline, Vivienne Tam, Toga

Daniel Kong and Alba Pinto

Ring tones Minimalists are breaking their piggy banks to buy Céline’s latest Ring bags, made in beautifully supple calfskin leather. Already classic wardrobe staples, we recommend the versions in jet black (right; HK$20,500), white (above left; HK$22,500) and graphic indigo (above right; HK$21,500). Céline is in Pacific Place, Admiralty.

Chinoiserie chic has been given a modern twist this season, thanks to Vivienne Tam. Chinese grandmas will be shaking their heads at the black and white palette (both hues have negative cultural connotations), but we still think these little numbers are pretty darn cute. The sleeveless black and white dress (below left; HK$8,500), with an asymmetric collar and peeps of skin through embroidered foliage, offers subtle sexuality. The strapless option (below right; HK$9,500) is a younger, wilder alternative that would be great for a party. Vivienne Tam is in The Landmark, Central.

Toga party The brainchild of Yasuko Furuta, hip label Toga was named after the ancient Roman garment to express the Japanese designer’s vintage aesthetic. The brand’s spring-summer sandals feature ornate metal details on thick soles and contrasting textures such as leather and PVC. We love the weighty platform on the embossed leather clog (below left; HK$3,400) and the leather sandal with green details (below right; HK$3,100). Toga is available at Lane Crawford, IFC Mall, Central.
