Perfect 10 Can you believe that Alexander Wang (the label, not the designer) is 10 years old? It still feels like yesterday when the brand took the world by storm with monochrome basics that oozed coolness. But let's not dwell on the past, the here and now is where it's at and Wang has just released a capsule collection of 10 pieces to celebrate his first decade. Re-issued pieces from his previous runway collections, the line is the fashion equivalent of a greatest-hits-so-far album. We're particularly loving these pieces (above from far left): the top with leather-fringed sleeves (HK$9,800), the sexy zipper trousers (HK$11,600), the killer motorcycle jacket (HK$26,900) and the provocative tube dress (HK$6,200). Alexander Wang is in Harbour City, Tsim Sha Tsui, Kowloon.
Wrist candy If, like Disney character Pocahontas, you are keen to paint with all the "colours of the wind", then may we recommend the latest offerings from Swatch. Eye-catching models include (from above left) Blue Poetry (HK$400), the Marmor (HK$560), the Uncinetto (HK$560) and the Marmora Verde (HK$560). Swatch is at 31 Queen's Road Central.
Carry it off Milanese brand Valextra has been quietly delivering quality leather goods since 1937, but now it's ready to make some noise. Our favourites among this season's bold and beautiful accessories include the royal blue Twist 2 in calfskin (above right; HK$14,570), the large red Casa bag (above left; HK$25,360) and the geometric Triennale (above centre; HK$24,280). Valextra is in IFC Mall, Central.
