Netflix historical K-drama Under the Queen’s Umbrella mixes tiger mothers, court intrigue and parasol politics
Although it lacks action early on, this historical drama is full of political manoeuvring, and Kim Hae-sook’s Queen Dowager is a malevolent masterpiece
Meanwhile, in the second season of satire The White Lotus on HBO Go, the action moves to Sicily, where the hotel’s staff and guests all have personal problems
