Revamp your winter wardrobe with Cos, Escada and Miu Miu

Jing Zhang runs the rule over resort collections and some winter Scandi chic

Club culture Miuccia Prada never fails to delight with her quirky accessories and, lately, we've been enjoying the healthy competition between her Prada and Miu Miu labels. Colouration has always been the designer's forte, and we're digging the hues of the resort 2016 collection's Miu Miu Club, inspired by the Parisian club scene in the 1980s. The bag is softly structured, all ruched leather loveliness (the signature matelassé effect) with oversized chain details. Our favourite versions are the dusty pink and the mustard brown (both above; HK$19,050 each). Miu Miu is in The Landmark, Central.

Strictly business Escada is offering sophisticated women a fresh metropolitan wardrobe with its latest resort collection. Black, white and rosehip hues constitute a chic base palette that veers off into bolts of blue, elegant greys and not-so-flattering safety hazard orange. We like the pink wide-leg trousers (HK$7,500) paired with a cropped jumper (HK$4,900) and white shirt (HK$5,900; all above centre), and the high-waisted trousers (HK$8,900) worn with a billowy, romantic white boho blouse (HK$9,500; above left), for a smart new look for the office. Finally, the striking one-shoulder black and white gown (above right; HK$36,500) gives a cool, technical edge to eveningwear. Escada is in Standard Chartered Bank Building, 4 Des Voeux Road Central.

Bare essentials Cos, our favourite purveyors of Scandi chic, has some excellent winter wardrobe additions that won't break the bank. There's plenty of lovely warm long coats available (check out the powder blue one, if you can), but we're also coveting the minimal accessories on offer such as the black leather Chelsea flat boot with square sole (above left; HK$1,750) and the grey wool Aden rectangular backpack (above right; HK$1,900). Cos is at 74 Queen's Road Central.
