Eve Lom’s Cleanser (HK$660/100ml) comes with a muslin cloth that is used to massage the balm-like product into the face. This powerful cleanser removes even the most stubborn make-up, such as waterproof eyeliner or mascara, without drying out the skin.
John Masters Organics’ Rose Foaming Face Wash (HK$295/118ml) contains ingredients such as aloe and rose-flower oil. And, since it is a natural product, it produces much less lather than a typical foam wash. Being a mild cleanser, it is ideal for those with sensitive skin.
Shu Uemura’s Cleansing Oil collection includes some of the best make-up removers on the market. The latest, POREfinist² Sakura Refreshing Cleansing Oil (HK$260/110ml), is a worthwhile addition, with a slightly watery formula that washes off easily and cleanly.
Tatcha’s Deep Cleanse (HK$310/150ml) exfoliates with natural fruit fibres that don’t feel abrasive. Just as the name suggests, the formula draws out impurities and unclogs pores. Although it is hydrating for a scrub, we would not recommend using it more than once a day.
