After earning a best actor nomination earlier this year for Call Me By Your Name, the 22-year-old is generating Oscar buzz again for Beautiful Boy, but it is not only his acting abilities that are setting tongues wagging
Timothée Chalamet, 22, became the youngest best actor nominee in almost 80 years when he was nominated for an Academy Award for his performance in Call Me by Your Name (2017). Now he is getting Oscar buzz again, for his performance in Beautiful Boy , an upcoming film about a teenager grappling with meth addiction.
The American actor’s appearances on the red carpet have shown that he can rock a colourful suit like no other. For Beautiful Boy’s Los Angeles premiere, he wore an all-red number from Louis Vuitton, which he paired with chunky white trainers. He again opted for oversized white runners when he wore an Alexander McQueen suit in powder blue with cherry blossom embroidery in San Sebastián, Spain. For the London premiere, Chalamet ditched the trainers for a pair of sleek Chelsea boots. The painted floral-print drop-shoulder outfit, also from Alexander McQueen, is his best look to date.
