Lenny Kravitz rocks double denim on the red carpet at the MTV Video Music Awards
The toned 55-year-old left little to the imagination with his bare chest and chain-mail necklace

Often mocked as the Mexican – or Canadian – tuxedo, the denim-on-denim trend is not something we easily endorse but if there’s one celebrity who can pull off the risky outfit it’s R&B singer-songwriter Lenny Kravitz.
For his red-carpet appearance at the MTV Video Music Awards in New Jersey, the United States, Kravitz went full 1970s, sporting a sleeveless denim vest in a faded wash worn sans shirt underneath, paired with matching jeans. He accessorised the outfit with his signature talismanic jewellery, a pair of square-shaped sunglasses and white cowboy boots.
The finishing touch was the gold chain-mail necklace that left little to the imagination and exposed his toned physique. Not too bad for a 55-year-old who can still rock a six pack and tattooed arms like a true bad boy.
