POST EDIT: Rolex support for classic car events such as the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance continues the watchmaker’s long association with motor sports

First held in 1950, the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance celebrates exquisite cars from different eras and their enduring influence on society.

Rolex has supported classic automotive events on the west coast of the United States for 24 years through its relationships with the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance, the Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion and The Quail, A Motorsports Gathering. These events pay homage to those who dedicate their lives to preserving and remembering the past while continuing to influence the future.

“These events are truly wonderful because they honour the heritage of the car and highlight the extraordinary technical and mechanical advancements of the last century,” says Rolex testimonee and multiple Formula One race winner Mark Webber.

“Seeing all the cars gathered at Pebble Beach during my visit in 2019, as well as witnessing Rolex’s ongoing support of motoring tradition, is something I will never forget.”

This year, the Concours, which took place in August and celebrated its 70th anniversary, welcomed back several of its previous Best of Show recipients, as well as winners of the original Pebble Beach Road Races.
