Best new restaurants, worst of the closures in 2022 and the talk of the town in Hong Kong, a year of two halves for diners and owners

  • Mosu at M+, Noi at the Four Seasons, Vicky Lau’s Mora, high-end food halls and Magistracy Dining Room were among noteworthy additions to the dining scene
  • Doughnuts became a thing, as did very expensive four-hands dinners; among places that shut were Posto Pubblico, Teakha, and Jumbo Floating Restaurant – it sank
