Why: For those who can't be away from sparkling jewellery and luxury for too long, you can now get your feel of glamour even when you are in the bath.

British luxury bathware manufacturer Catchpole & Rye's jaw-dropping design is studded with more than 22,000 Swarovski crystals applied by hand on the cast-iron bathtub with enamel interior.

The traditional techniques used to create the high-quality, limited-edition bath are similar to skills dating back 100 years. Veteran artisans handcraft the bath, while a single craftsman spends a good 200 hours applying the crystals onto the exterior of the tub at Catchpole & Rye's foundry in Kent.

The crystals come in four sizes and are applied in random fashion for maximised sparkling effect.

A simple glittering façade not enough? Customise your bath with other crystal options in gold, blue or green, or go a step further and have your name spelled out.

You can also spoil your baby rotten with a mini version of the bathtub, suitable for children aged up to 10, for only HK$1.45 million.
