Height of glory

New York City's tallest residential building, located at 432 Park Avenue, has become one of the most coveted addresses. The 425-metre-tall architectural gem is designed by Rafael Viñoly, who has worked on numerous projects around the globe across a range of building types.

The 96-storey building, emphasising precision, quality and sophistication, was inspired in part by the regulating qualities of the Manhattan city grid. Using architectural concrete, steel and glass, the building is divided into seven volumes stacked on one another to feature 104 residences. The first residences are 103 metres above ground, and all apartments feature panoramic views seen through three-by-three-metre windows that are unobstructed by interior columns. The building will be completed in 2015.
