The Opera Only, by Italian designer Andrea Pivetta, doubles as a high-end audio amplifier and a work of art. It provides 160,000 watts of power and boasts a price tag of almost US$2.2 million. Its seven-digit price tag is justified by its excellent audio capacity and transformer-like qualities.

The cylinder-shaped audio device stands at 1.9m and features 12 panels. But with one click on a remote, the amplifier transforms - opening up into six sections standing at 2.5m tall. LED lights help reveal the power electronics as it pumps music through either two, 80kw channels or six, 30kw channels.
