EVENT IWC’s Inside the Wave Gala
	WHERE Geneva, Switzerland
 

HAPPENINGS: Drawing inspiration from IWC Schaffhausen's latest Aquatimer collection, the Swiss watchmaker transformed the venue into an underwater world for a grand soiree during this year's Salon International de la Haute Horlogerie.
The stellar event was attended by 800 guests from across the globe, including A-listers Kevin Spacey, Ewan McGregor and Susan Sarandon, former football star Luís Figo and Formula 1 drivers Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg.
Swen Lorenz of the Charles Darwin Foundation, whose Galapagos Islands scientific institution is supported by IWC, introduced his mission to guests during the gala. Cirque du Soleil performers then entertained guests with a programme specially choreographed for IWC and narrated by Hollywood heartthrob McGregor.
Famous singer Roger Hodgson took centre stage before DJ Jack E, who flew in from Saint-Tropez, entertained the party.
