Happenings: Louis Vuitton’s much anticipated debut collection by Nicolas Ghesquière attracted numerous celebrities and A-listers to grace the front row. Actresses Catherine Deneuve, Chloe Sevigny, Adèle Exarchopoulos and homegrown star Fan Bingbing were among VIPs who showed up to support the event. For the debut collection, the former alumna of Balenciaga worked a coveted wardrobe for modernday heroines. Danish model Freja Beha Erichsen opened the show wrapped in a turtleneck dress and an A-line leather jacket, which set the tone for the whole collection. Also spotted backstage was Japanese soccer star and long-time Louis Vuitton fan Hidetoshi Nakata.
