Your smartphone is running low on battery again? TAG Heuer's got a solution that puts an end to it. Its Meridiist Infinite, recently unveiled at BaselWorld, is the world's first communication device running on perpetual power reserve - 28 days in standby time or seven hours of talking time to be exact.

Folks at TAG Heuer created a photovoltaic device embedded inside the phone's sapphire crystal screen that charges the phone automatically under certain light sources, such as sunlight or artificial lighting. Its sleek exterior is made of titanium, carbon and rubber. Limited to 1,911 pieces, the phone is sells for HK$73,300.
