Jimmy Choo launches new collection

Hilary Tsui has fun at the photo booth with Cath Love

EVENT Jimmy Choo’s Choo.08 ˚ Collection Launch
WHERE Eight & Nine, Sheung Wan

HAPPENINGS: Named after the longitude of London - 0.08 degrees - Jimmy Choo's new collection is inspired by London-based creative director Sandra Choi's personal aesthetics. The collection features modern and cool styles and is proof of the brand's commitment to quality heels.

The venue decorated by local graffiti artist Cath Love The collection brought the city's hip party crowd out in force. We spotted Canto-pop diva Sammi Cheng sporting a colourful Versace ensemble, talking enthusiastically about her love life with beau Andy Hui. Mainland singer-turned-actress Chris Li stole the spotlight with her ultracool tomboy look. Fashionistas Hilary Tsui, Gaile Lai, Johanna Ho and Victoria Tang had a great time at the photo booth. Turning the heat of the party up a notch was Mary Charteris, daughter of the Earl of Wemyss and March. The aristocrat and London "it" girl took over the turntable to spin some music for the party.

OVERHEARD Mary Charteris The collection’s name is auspicious. Number eight is definitely going to sell in Hong Kong.
