Taiwan-born designer's master timepiece

Cindy Chao, the Taiwan-born designer, has never ceased to amaze with her exquisite craftsmanship. Five years after her Royal Butterfly brooch was displayed by the Smithsonian, National Museum of Natural History, in Washington in the United States, she has created a more sophisticated timepiece, Timeless Sculpture TS1.

In collaboration with the renowned Swiss watch movement manufacture ETA, Chao used her iconic maple leaf motif and transcended it into her new ornate timekeeping sculpture, creating a brilliant masterpiece.

It took a team of 12 master watchmakers in Geneva to make the timepiece, which required two-and-a-half years of research and development. The timepiece made its debut appearance in Taipei in April.

There are 13 design versions of the timepiece that were made to prelude its global launch in a number of cities, including Hong Kong and Beijing. Only global jewellery art collectors are able to pre-order the state-of-art timepiece at the yet-to-be announced launch date of the TS1 Art Jewel Watch Collection.
