French jewellery and watchmaker Van Cleef & Arpels has set up a school to unveil the mysterious world of jewellery and watchmaking to jewellery and watch lovers. Since its launch in 2012, the school has toured the globe to showcase the craftsmanship behind Van Cleef & Arpels' masterpieces. This year, the school opens a permanent location in Paris' Place Vendome. From October 16 to November 1, L'ÉCOLE Van Cleef & Arpels is travelling to town for the first time, taking up residence in the refurbished PMQ to offer a range of courses by art historians, virtuoso craftsmen, experienced jewellers, gemologists and master watchmakers flown in from Paris. The two-week programme - a selection of courses also offered at Van Cleef & Arpels' Parisian premise - is designed to appeal to all, including beauty lovers, connoisseurs and professionals.
