EVENT Westbank Vancouver House Unveiling Gala
	WHERE Duddell’s, Central
 

HAPPENINGS: To unveil its luxury condominium in the heart of Vancouver, Canada, developer Westbank Corporation splurged on a starry soiree. Socialites and celebrities including Taiwanese-born Canadian model and actor Godfrey Gao, former CSI star Archie Kao and model-turned-designer Gaile Lai flew in especially for the event.
Construction of the luxury condo, designed by world famous Bjarke Ingels Group, is set to begin next year. Guests got a sneak preview of the futuristic design before wining and dining at the hip Chinese restaurant. The well-heeled crowd attended the after-party in the VIP area upstairs. Westbank CEO Ian Gillespie announced at the event that his firm is aiming to sell about 25 per cent of the units to Hong Kong buyers.

What do you miss most about your hometown, Vancouver?
	I most miss the feeling of home. My relatives and friends are there. I always feel right at home when I'm back in Vancouver. 
How has your prestigious upbringing influenced your style?
	Growing up, I was surrounded by beautiful things. My dad is stylish and he is handsome for his age. 
Has your Hollywood debut last year opened the door of opportunity for you?
	It was good for me. The role has given me lots of publicity. There are a lot more scripts coming my way now. 
Is there any filmmaker or actor you wish to work with?
	I would be grateful if I could work with Hollywood professionals such as James Cameron.
