With the summer waves beckoning, you might want to let loose in the ocean. Strand Craft has designed a powerful yet luxurious jet ski named V8 Wet Rod.

The five-metre-long jet ski features a massive 5.7-litre V8 engine which unleashes 300 to 410hp, capable of attaining a top speed of 105km/h. The exterior, resembling a miniature yacht, is sleekly crafted out of carbon fibre and epoxy. There is an ice box under the seat for storing drinks and a separate waterproof luggage box for storing bigger items. Optional extras include wood or carbon fibre inlays, custom paint, a sound system and GPS navigation. The V8 costs US$49,000.
