EVENT Versace Unique Signature Handbags Limited Edition Collection VIP Launch
WHERE Pacific Place, Admiralty
: Any Versace handbag can make a woman smile - how about 25 of them? The Italian fashion house has created a selection of 25 one-of-a-kind handbags to celebrate Pacific Place's 25th anniversary. To highlight the uniqueness of the bags, Versace turned to the stars for help. Celebrities including Michele Reis, Elva Hsiao, Josie Ho and Joey Yung took part in a photo shoot curated by stylist Alvin Goh. Their photos were on display alongside the bags in the atrium of the Admiralty mall.
The celebrity models all showed up to support the exclusive launch. As guests mingled over cocktails, fans were eager to catch snapshots of the stars and get their hands on the bags for a good cause. Part of the sales proceeds went to the End Child Sexual Abuse Foundation.
OVERHEARD I think turning to star power is a great move. It adds uniqueness to the bags.

Can you tell us the inspiration behind the photo exhibition?
I was very much inspired by Richard Avedon, especially his early works for Gianni Versace.
What’s your dream bag?
I’m a backpack man. I can’t live without it. Comfort is crucial for me when I’m not working.
