Mechanical watch with chronometric performance

Urwerk's latest creation, EMC (Electro Mechanical Control) Black, is the world's first 100 per cent mechanical, high-precision and interactive watch with an electronic monitoring system. The system allows the owner to monitor and adjust their timepiece's chronometric performance.

In addition to conventional indications - hours, minutes, seconds and power reserve indicator, there is an original performance indicator display, which is activated on demand by a push of a button. The "instrument panel" dial consists of circular and crescent-shaped subdials which contrast with the sleek, black treated titanium and steel case. The watch costs about US$120,000.
