EVENT Fendi Un Art Autre Exhibition Cocktail
WHERE Landmark, Hong Kong
: Celebrating the reopening of its concept store at Landmark, Fendi brought its much anticipated "Un Art Autre Exhibition" to Hong Kong. The exhibition, curated by Emanuela Nobile Mino, showcases the Italian luxury fashion maison's craftsmanship. Veteran experts were flown in to demonstrate fur treatments. Archived design patterns by the maison's creative director, Karl Lagerfeld, were also on display. Guests had a sneak peek into the fashion house's rich history. A selection of archive pieces, some dating back to the 1960s, were shown to reflect Fendi's legacy.
The brand's CEO Pietro Beccari and creative director Silvia Venturini Fendi flew in for the event. Korean actor Jang Dong-kun, actresses Zhang Ziyi and Carina Lau, and Taiwanese actor Ethan Ruan were among the celebrity line-up to celebrate the occasion. The cocktail was followed by a stellar gala dinner.
OVERHEARD Even though some of the archive pieces are decades old, their great craftsmanship and timeless design are still relevant today.
