WHAT: INFINITY TABLE
HOW MUCH: HK$1.14 MILLION

If you are an art lover, you will certainly appreciate the cutting-edge Infinity Table, from Britain's Silverlining. It is the pinnacle of craftsmanship, creativity and innovation. The table captures all that the luxury furniture brand represents - furniture as fine, functional art.

The table is 145cm by 145cm by 73cm and is made from English rippled sycamore and coloured lacquer, with a laminated composite core. It demonstrates Silverlining's dye technology, where any Pantone colour can be achieved on sustainable wood.

This piece of elaborate furniture plays with human perceptions. The dramatic, trumpet-like void at the centre resembles a bottomless pit, and the fluid ribbon legs peel back and flow directly back to the tabletop. The table features colours that change from red to blue, which increases the sense of infinity. It will be a statement piece in the centre of your living room that will leave your guests in awe.

The table stands out with its continuous construction, fluidity of fibres, and hallucination of hues, creating a captivating "art" experience for the owner.

Only eight of these ultimate statement pieces will be produced. A single red table, to appeal to Asian collectors, will form part of the series. The most expensive piece, which will be showcased at Design Shanghai in March, uses a straw marquetry technique for the finish.
