Burberry creates scarf embroidered with Chinese character for Lunar New Year
STORYVivian Chen

Thanks to the impressive Chinese purchasing power, the British fashion house Burberry is among the latest luxury brands to embrace Chinese elements for its regional-exclusive Lunar New Year collection. Burberry has launched a limited-edition Scottish-woven heritage cashmere scarf in one of the brand's most iconic check prints. The scarf features subtle embroidery of the Chinese character "fu", which means good fortune. Despite the brand's long-standing presence in the Chinese luxury market, it's not often that Burberry offers specially-themed products to its customers there. The scarf is available in camel, stone and charcoal.
