The much-anticipated exhibition "Savage Beauty", dedicated to the late fashion designer Alexander McQueen, has opened in London's Victoria and Albert Museum. The exhibition was a big hit when it was first staged at New York's Metropolitan Museum in 2011, and for the first time, it has come overseas to London, where McQueen was born and worked.

Some of fashion's biggest names, who just finished making appearances at Paris Fashion Week, attended the gala celebrating the exhibition's opening. The stellar guest list included Kate Moss, Mario Testino, Sarah Burton and Kering boss François-Henri Pinault.
