Veteran filmmaker Ann Hui of The Golden Era, taking home five awards including Best Picture and Best Director, might be the biggest winner on the stage at last night’s prestigious Hong Kong Film Awards. STYLE also finds out who stole the spotlight on the red carpet.

Best Actress winner Zhao Wei opted for a classic, one-shoulder Oscar de la Renta tulle gown featuring an elegant silver-foiled tulip motif, matched with a Jaeger-LeCoultre timepiece which glistened on her wrist.

Tang Wei wowed in a Burberry floral laser-cut leather dress in a spot-on spring shade matched with the British brand’s signature T-bar sandals.

Sandra Ng, who clinched the title of Best Dressed of the Night, stunned in a Valentino gown from the spring/summer 2015 collection inspired by the Grand Tour.

Shu Qi accessorised her Emilio Pucci gown with an equally sensually seductive Bulgari Serpenti bracelet.
