Roland Iten is no stranger to those who appreciate the finer things in life. Now, the pioneer in micromechanics for gentlemen's accessories has done it again with a stunning new mechanical belt buckle featuring a 60.66ct fancy orange-brown, modified kite-shaped diamond.
We met with Roland Iten in Basel during Baselworld 2015. The designer said he was instantly captivated by the beauty and shape of the diamond. For Iten, it was important to ensure the diamond had a functional role and being pleasing to the eye. Taking 18 months to produce, with more than 100 components, the belt buckle is a marriage between stunning engineering and haute joaillerie for men.
The R60 Diablo will be on tour in London, New York, Tokyo, Abu Dhabi, Hong Kong and Shanghai.
