Virtual reality headset offers an insider's look at Dior's world and runway shows

If you've ever wanted to take a peek backstage at fashion events, now you have the chance to do so.

Luxury fashion house Dior has unveiled "Dior Eyes", a virtual reality headset that whisks wearers behind the scenes of its latest runway shows.

The device also offers an insider's look at the world of Dior.

Technology meets high fashion in the new headset, which features high-definition images and holophonic sounds. Viewers will feel as if they're part of the action alongside designer Raf Simons, photographers, make-up artists and models.

If this is an indication of the way fashion will be merging with technology, we have to admit we are excited and eager for more.
