HK$10 million fantasy wedding proposal is the ultimate romantic gesture

Nothing should stopa man from wanting to sweep his lucky lady off her feet when popping the big question. With that in the mind, the ladies at Ellermann Design have dreamt up the ultimate fantasy wedding proposal.

As a self-proclaimed dreamer who often dreams up fairy-tale weddings and has helped bring many beautiful fantasy weddings to life, coming up with the perfect proposal was not a difficult task for Diane Beatrice Nittke. Working in conjunction with White Bridal Salon, which provided planning consultation, what results is a beautiful event which the bride-to-be will surely remember for years to come.

The entire proposal is filled with joy, beauty and - most importantly - flowers. Using a stunning variety of roses, including garden roses, Ecuador roses and spray roses and rosebuds, not only are the blooms bundled up into lush bouquets, they are also transformed into floral arches, a petal carpet and other décor to create an invitingly luxurious and romantic ambience for the big moment.

The proposal is split into four stages. From start to finish, no expense is spared to ensure the lucky lady gets everything she deserves and more.

The proposal begins with an invitation. Delivered on a silver tray by a footman alongside a beautiful flower bouquet finished with hand-dyed silk ribbons, the custom-designed invitation features beautiful calligraphy.

Following the instructions on the invitation, the lucky lady will be whisked away on a journey by a chauffeur-driven limo to an airfield. Waiting for her will be a footman who will present another beautiful bouquet of multipetal fresh roses and a floral-inspired cocktail. She will then step onto a private helicopter which will take her on a tour of the couple's favourite spots in Hong Kong. Whether it's The Peak or Repulse Bay, spotting her and her beau's special places will surely put a smile on her face.

When the bride-to-be lands at The Peninsula, she will be whisked away to the deluxe suite for a pampering session to gear her up for the big moment. The decadent room will filled to the brim with fresh garden roses and vines. As her eyes take in the lush pinks and creams of the petals, she will be enveloped in the sweet scents of the flowers.

Waiting for her in the room will be her favourite international make-up artist to doll her up for the event. Appreciating a woman's needs to change multiple times for big occasions, there will be a selection of gowns - from the likes of Reem Acra, Monique Lhuillier and Jenny Packham - available for the her to choose from.
