Uniqlo is hitting marketing gold this week. Novak Djokovic clinched the Wimbledon championship for a second year in a row, and as he held the cup up high in his tennis whites, the Japanese brand’s red and white logo was emblazoned across his chest.
Meanwhile, fashionistas are busy sharing a sneak peek at the Christophe Lemaire and Uniqlo collaboration, which will hit stores this autumn. The former creative director of Hermes brings his signature irresistable simplicity to the brand’s casual wear collection: Think lush ribbed knitwear and elegant casual wear you can take from day to night.

Lemaire joins the likes of Ines de la Fressange, Pharrell Williams and Celia Birtwell, who have also collaborated with Uniqlo in the past.
Other high-street brands, such as H&M, are also known for collaborations with designers from fashion powerhouses, including Karl Lagerfeld and Alexander Wang. In November, H&M will launch its collection with Balmain. Models Jourdan Dunn and Kendall Jenner have teased the capsule collection with their red carpet appearance at the Billboard Music Awards in May.
