Fashion designer Azzedine Alaïa launches his first perfume with cocktail party at Lane Crawford

: Fashion designer Azzedine Alaïa may be known for his chic laser-cut designs, but he's making his mark now in the world of fragrances. His debut fragrance - Alaïa Paris - was launched earlier this year and fashion's elite flocked to the celebratory cocktail reception at Lane Crawford.

The perfume, which exudes supreme femininity, is exclusively available at Lane Crawford and on the store's website. The scent features tones of musk, blended with notes of freesia, peony and pink pepper.

Among the crowd at the cocktail were models Cara G and Mikki Yao, singer Kary Ng, and actress Ankie Beilke. Jocelyn Luko-Sandstrom was spotted sampling the fragrance.
